Arginine/lysine polypeptide is a sodium channel blocker that interrupts nerve signaling for instant wrinkle reduction.


Product Information:

WrinFix-Mu is a potent neuroactive peptide derived from a 22-amino acid toxin secreted by Conus consors. In its natural form, μ-conotoxin CnIIIC adopts a stable 3D structure through three disulfide bonds formed by six cysteine residues. It selectively blocks the voltage-gated sodium channel NaV1.4, effectively inhibiting nerve signal transmission and reducing local muscle contractions. This mechanism helps prevent and smooth expression lines and dynamic wrinkles. With a low effective concentration (IC50 ≈ 0.01 ppm) and rapid onset (visible reduction of periorbital wrinkles within 30 minutes), it delivers instant smoothing effects and long-term wrinkle reduction, making it a highly effective active for anti-aging formulations.

Experiment conditions: Healthy Asian women (Age: 52.1± 4.4) N=13 ; Test group: 10 ppm WrinFix-Mu cream.

Result: WrinFix-Mu can significantly reduce facial wrinkles and increase skin elasticity and skin firmness. 


Formulation Guidelines:

– Recommended level of use: 1−10 ppm (0.0001−0.001%)

– Solubility: WrinFix-Mu is easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is stable for 12 months at 25 °C.

– Formulation guide: WrinFix-Mu has high biological activity, and the operating temperature of the preparation process should be ≤ 45 °C and added in the final stage of the formulation .

– Permeabilizer containing dimethyl isosorbide (DMI) can be used to promote penetration.
