Product Information

Reduced glutathione is a natural tripeptide composed of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. This ingredient is present in human cells and plays a crucial role in metabolic regulation. The reduced glutathione is known for its ability to activate multiple enzymes and promote the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Its detoxification, anti-oxidation and immune enhancing effects are widely recognized and utilized in a variety of healthcare products.

Mechanism

L-Glutathione Reduced

ROS can cause tissue fibrosis by acceler-ating abnormal proliferation of malondial-dehyde (MDA) and 4-hydroxynonenal(HNE). GSH can prevent tissue fibrosis byeliminating ROS.

ROS will affect lipid homeostasis regulation, block fatty acid oxidation, and cause lipid peroxidation. GSH can prevent lipid peroxidation by eliminating ROS.

L-Glutathione Reduced

ROS can stimulate the production of inflammatory factors, leading to inflamma-tion. GSH can achieve an anti-inflammato ry effect by eliminating ROS.

ROS can activate tyrosinase, leading to the production of melanin and causing skin hyperpigmentation. GSH can brighten the skin by eliminating ROS.

Efficacy

L-Glutathione Reduced

Fifteen patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease were supplemented with 300 mg/day of glutathione for 4 months. A decrease in plasma alanine transaminase (ALT) level was observed after 4 months.

L-Glutathione Reduced

Fifteen HIV-positive patients were randomly divided into two groups. One group was supplemented with glutathione (1260 mg/day). After 13 weeks, the group showed a significant decrease in inflammation factor (IL-6).

L-Glutathione Reduced

60 healthy people were orally administered with glutathione at a dose of 500 mg/day. After 4 weeks, the average melanin index of 6 parts is significantly decreased compared with the control group.
