INCI Name: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1
CAS: 147732-56-7
Molecular Formula: C30H54N6O5
WrinFix-P3P1 is a synthetic peptide commonly used in skincare products for its anti-aging and skin-rejuvenating efficacies.
Product Information:
WrinFix-P3P1 (Palmitoyl tripeptide-1, Pal-GHK), derived from the palmitoylation of GHK, enhances the transdermal delivery properties of GHK and stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans by activating transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β). Furthermore, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 inhibits the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), thereby reducing collagen degradation and contributing to skin firming and anti-wrinkle effects.

Efficacy:

Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 has better skin penetration than copper tripeptide-1 and tripeptide-1.
GHK: Tripeptide-1; GHK-Cu: Copper tripeptide-1; Pal-GHK: Palmitoyl tripeptide -1

Experimental conditions: Human fibroblasts; Blank control: Complete culture medium; Positive control: TGF-β1; Experimental group: Palmitoyl tripeptide-1
Results: Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 can promote the production of collagen and elastin, and the promotion effect is concentration-dependent.

Experimental conditions: Human fibroblasts; Blank control: Complete culture medium; Negative control: UV; Positive control: UV+ vitamin E; Experimental group: UV+ Palmitoyl tripeptide -1
Results: Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 can inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in fibroblasts, and the inhibitory effect is concentration-dependent.
Formulation Guidelines:
– Recommended level of use: 10−1000 ppm
– WrinFix-P3P1 is partly soluble in water (<1000 ppm)
– WrinFix-P3P1 has high biological activity, and should be processed below 45 °C and added at the final stage of formulation.
